Demands on your time coming left, right and centre? Does everything seem to be taking longer than you thought, leaving little time to actually relax and enjoy life?  We know the feeling and that’s why we’ve looked around to find other North East businesses, which like Cleaners for Causes, exist to make your life easier – to save you time and help you have the hassle free life you would like.

So, whether you’re going round in circles with your colour scheme, struggling to prepare for the perfect dinner party or don’t have time to walk your beloved dog, help is at hand.

We caught up with Natasha Ball of Bark Academy , a trustworthy, fully insured, reliable pet service which provides dog walking and other pet services come rain or shine. bark1

Bark Academy is a small local business which thrives to provide the highest quality of care for your pets. The reason in which we are proud to say that we are a small business is so we can offer a truly personalised dedicated service, yet meet all of our client’s requirements and needs at the same time, all of the time.

“Dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole.”

We understand that occasionally, although we adore our four legged companions, they are sometimes left at home… Bark Academy offers group walks whilst you are at work earning the pennies for the Bonio’s. Your canine pal will be picked up in one of our doggy friendly vans taken to the Beach, Woodland Walks or through open Farm land with all their pals. Our walks will be filled with fun, games and training. Group walks are a great opportunity for your dogs to become well socialised, have fun and on a whole become better behaved.  Your Dog is looked at individually therefore all their needs are catered for. Your dog will be exercised in small friendly social groups of no more than 4/5. All locations that have been chosen have been assessed for their safety and fun.

Group walks start at £10 for a fun filled adventure and our fully equipped Bark Buses cover Chester Le Street, Washington, Houghton Le Spring and Durham.

Fed up with scouring interior design magazines and Pinterest hoping to find a style solution for a particular room in your home?  Perhaps it’s time to enlist the help of an expert.

I set up Catherine A Muir Interior Design because I love interior design and I believe I can make a real difference to the way a space works for the people who use it, whether it’s in a family home or a small business.

 catherine 1

I have been an interior designer for more than ten years, specialising in home and retail design and working with Ikea and private clients. I also teach AutoCAD to private and business clients, and I am developing and teaching an interior design course at Gateshead College.  My qualifications include a BA (Hons) in Interior Design from the University of Huddersfield, and I’m also a certified AutoCAD Professional.

I’m also a mother-of-two running a business from home, so I understand how important it is that a space works for the people who use it. The changing needs of a growing family have presented some of my biggest design challenges yet! I also know how important it is that your homes are efficient but are as equally aesthetically pleasing and my design approach reflects that, working with my clients to create an interior that’s beautiful, functional and reflects their individual style.

Embarking on an interior design project is exciting, but can also be a bit daunting, which is why I have various package options available to my clients. During my ‘Two Heads are Better than One’ package we work together with me acting as a sounding board, providing ideas and inspiration, suggesting new ways of using the space, and look at patterns, fabrics and colour combinations you might not have thought of. catherine 3

Or there is my ‘Trust Me I’m a Designer’ package which follows a more traditional route.  I also design kitchens, including the new BioGraphy range and the well-known Second Nature range. In all options I will guide you through the design process and help you avoid expensive mistakes. You know what you need from your space; my job is to bring my professional experience and expertise to help you make the most of what you’ve got to work with.

I look forward to hearing from you about your next project!
